Exterior painting
Exterior Painting is a service that we perform weather permitting. The weather plays a huge factor in our exterior schedule. Obviously we can’t paint in the rain and the house has to dry before work will begin. All of our foremen and job site supervisors are equipped with moisture meters. They are a necessary tool so we can guarantee that your job is done right.
Commercial painting
Commercial painting is a large percentage of Mad Hatter’s work. We provide both interior and exterior painting for our commercial customers as well as resilient floors. If your business needs to be running during the day we work at night. Communication with the General Contractor or business owner on a daily basis is standard practice for Mad Hatter Painting. We understand that schedules will change and we will adapt accordingly.
Spraying
Spraying is a very efficient way to apply paint products. We are fully experienced with both HVLP and airless paint sprayers. Airless spraying is the most common and cost effective spray application.
Resilient floor systems
Resilient floor systems are generally used but not limited to the commercial market. A resilient floor is an extremely durable product applied generally to slabs or cement floors. This system is a safe and cost effective alternative, to a slippery cement floor.
Light Carpentry
Over the years we have become great carpenters. It’s typical on most jobs to come across rotten wood on Cape Cod. Often we replace windowsills, corner boards, and any other area that needs to be addressed.
Paper Removal & Dry wall
We offer paper removal as well as dry wall repair. As most of us know walls can be damaged during the removal process. Mad Hatter will repair damage regardless of the severity.
Tape & Mud Dry Wall
This is another service that we are commonly asked to provide. We love doing it because we are guaranteed that the walls will be perfect for the next step, painting.
Power Washing & Light washing
A light power washing is a standard form of prep for most exterior painting. It's standard practice to let all of our projects dry for several days before any other work is performed. Trapped moisture is the most common reason why a paint job has failed. Aggressive power washing is some times necessary to remove mold or dirt from wood siding when chemical solutions fail. If this work is performed by an inexperienced worker the damage is irreversible.
